Cruise Sales Agent Description
Travel Agent Sales Position
We are a full service travel agency, with a niche in
cruises. March 2011 marked the start of our 6th year in business. Our
company has grown every year consistently since our humble beginnings, and by delivering a “wow” experience to
our customers, it has contributed to our success and growth. We have more customers than we can get back to.
We
are seeking only the most talented of sales persons to work with our customers. A customer service focused mentality must
be equally matched by strong sales ability. You must be a team player and fit our fun, but hard working company culture. Ambition
is a must.
You must be an excellent written and spoken communicator, and must feel very comfortable navigating
through several computer programs simultaneously throughout the day. With a high volume of leads, each of our staff members
must be highly efficient within our systems.
Position is full time only. You must be able to work one of three
shifts(9-6pm, 10-7pm, and 11-8pm). The shifts are based on a performance based shift bid so you must be able to work all three
shifts in any given month. Each shift has an hour lunch. You will also be required to work 1-2 weekend days per month unless
you are a top performer.

The position is an hourly recoverable draw of $8-$10 per hour vs. commisison depending
on experience. It is realistic that it could take a few months to start making commisison. Compensation can range
a lot depending on the individual. First year realistic potential from $25k-$50k+, with the potential to reach six figures
within 2-3 years for the better sales persons.
We are looking for individuals seeking long term employment, both in the way we hope to create a strong loyal employee
base, but also because we know every year you greatly increase your income by doing a good job for your clients and having
them come back to you.
We have a strong desire not only to continue to sell more vacations, but also want to grow
our company culture. We have a lot of integrity and team unity and are hoping anyone we hire will share these core values.
To
reiterate from the ad, this is a full time position, and while we offer flexibility, you will be an employee and will need
to commit to 40 hours a week, and one Saturday or Sunday per month. Lastly, we also have another program which experienced travel agents can become an Independent Affiliate
of Cruise Adventure Travel as an at-home Independent Contractor. This is a business opportunity. The commisison payout is
quite a bit more. This program is also notated on the home page of our support site.
